At the end of the season we were an unstoppable machine. OU imo was a top 5 top 6 team and MAYBE uga beats them. Bama beats them with Tua for sure. Otherwise their offense was going to light up anyone else.

Right. Everyone knows how talented the offense was, best college offense of all time.

Most of our starting D will be high NFL picks - Fulton, Delpit, Stingley, Chaisson, Queen are all likely top 40 picks. Shelvin, Clark, Phillips, Stevens, Lawrence are all going to be drafted - and by seasons end they were playing up to their potential.

Justin Jefferson had 8 catches for 186 yards and 4 TD’s with 9 minutes to go in the first half

Wow, knew he had scored a bunch early but never looked at the clock to see when he scored his 4th one, when he did his famous count on his hand, which was so damned funny, as even he could not believe it.

Great stat which shows utter dominance. 9 min left in the 2nd quarter with those numbers

OU had several overtime games, one to Iowa State. I believe tamu has better athletes and would win the game.

That was the most dominate beating I've ever witnessed in football.
It was pretty "dominant" too.

Joe Burrow Threw 7 Touchdowns. And That Was Just L.S.U's First Half.

As a young man, one record that always stood out to me was Houston's Andre Ware's mind-boggling 6 TD's in a half (against SMU). At the time, it was not only a record for a half, but also for a whole game, which indirectly also made me want some semblance of the run-and-shoot at LSU.

I finally see BDJ get 7 easily against #4 OU and realize it could have been 8 TDs considering LSU punted in the first half and didn't convert that one drive into points. It's surreal the level of offensive dominance I witnessed last season that even 7 tds in a half were not enough.

Was at the game and I wanted to go for two points to make it 50 at half. So disappointed

My dad's exact sentiment. He's a Tennessee fan, and was so disappointed when we kicked the PAT.

I was only able to make 3 games last season: Florida, Georgia, and Oklahoma, and those were pretty good. I think Joe Burrow just threw another TD

Look up "superiority complex" and work on your insecurities.

It's pathetic.

Was siting in the stadium thinking I was in the twilight zone. The disbelief grew larger with each score. Is this really possible? Can’t believe what I am witnessing. Is this really happening ? I sit here at this moment still shaking my head.

What could Riley possibly tell his team at half-time?

I still think my favorite TD from that game is Moss rumbling down the sideline wide open.

At the end of the season LSU was like secratariot at the Belmont in 1973. Running like a machine. Nothing was gonna stop it.

Sean McDonough's excitement building in that playcall (my favorite of the yea)r in that game, "Deep again. On target again. Jefferson again. Touchdown again!"

How scary would they have been if the defense played all season like they did the last four games?

I almost wonder if the injuries on defense might have influenced the offensive mindset.

Orgeron said as much in the Texas game- we weren't going to stop them, so keep scoring.

If the defense had played stout all season, we might have started coasting after getting to 30. Instead, that wasn't necessarily a safe total, so go for 50.
