Either way, that's just refuting one small point and there's still plenty of freshie drops but my mistake, I was assumptious.

I'm just frustrated with all the ignorance I've read lately.

I’ve watched football for a long time, I can make my own assessment. I can also account for various factors Burrow has been below average

He's a great qb

I a league where everyone gets a trophy

quote:

trash can line and average rbs and freshman receivers who keep dropping the ball and not hauling in many great catches.

bunch of excuses. He’s over thrown/missed some throws/plenty of QBs have had mediocre RB

You better get used to it. This isn't called the Rantard board as a compliment.

It does. And we need a new OC. Regardless of all of this. We are never going to out recruit Alabama while Saban is there. We will never out muscle them. We need an OC to have any kind of chance at all.

Just doesn't seem like the right time to be firing another OC and hiring a new one, not with all we have coming back on offense. The only offense lineman we should be losing to the draft is Brumfield, everyone else is back and with reinforcements coming in. Giles and Dillon and MOreaux are the only receiver we lose, but have all the other better WR's coming back and Pettigrew should return healthy to replace Moreaux who would be a big pass catching upgrade at TE. LOse Brossette at RB but have Tyrion Davis coming in along with CEH returning. But the biggest plus is Burrow, now SEC battle tested and with a year experience under his belt should see marked improvement (as will every other starter returning). Then even more important, Ensminger will have that experience as well. Things look good for the offense next season, not the time to break up the continuity and start over from scratch all over again after one year. Makes no sense to get a new OC after this season.

Damn the facts seem to have you a little rattled.

Which FACT upset you the most?

The 4 different starters at left tackle? The 4 different starters at left guard this season? Or was it the stuff percentage that has you so mad?

YOU posted this thread on 8/3 about the battle at the Center position. You posted this quote:

quote:

LSU has a lot more options to play with and a ton more depth than it had last year at this time when its began preseason camp with six healthy scholarship O-linemen.

And then had this snide remark to say:

quote:

Damn must have been a rough camp with only 6 olinemen on top of having to do the Canada line shifts.

Once again. frick you and your bullshite excuses.

The rantard narrative and real life are not the same thing.

Neither is blowing smoke up everyone's arse.

We have a head coach and a offensive coordinator that no other program wants.

It is what it is.

LSU also had the # 1 rated offensive line in all of college football by PFF when they faced Bama in 2016 under Ensminger

They scored zero points

It is hilarious. This thread is on page 4 of pissed off idiots and not one of them has mentioned or tried to dispute even ONE THING that was posted in the OP or accompanying link. I guess that's why they are so mad.

Rantards never disappoint.

Yep and it was true then and still is.

Yep sure did and it was true last season. Thankfully we have more than six Olinemen this season and they weren't having to run from one side of the line to the other on every play in practice.

Once again. frick you and your bullshite excuses.

Are you mad about the facts in the OP and article or are you pissed about the facts that I posted on 8/3?

Hard to follow here. I guess you could just be pissed off about everything. If you are, congratulations man, ENJOY !!!

How many times do we as fans have to say this and know this but the admin doesn't:

We. Need. A. Young/Experienced. OC. Who. Will. Air. It. The. F. Out. Spread. It. 5. fricking. Wide. Adapt. frick.

Which one would you get?

Which young/experienced OC has their team ranked #7 or higher in the CFP rankings?

Lincoln Riley.

Jeff Scott.

Chip Long.

Any competent OC could have recognized the OL deficiencies and formulated a game plan to score more than 0 points vs Bama.

Damn, did you not read the subject line of this thread or anything posted in the OP? I wouldn't expect you to understand anything in the link but damn man, at least give a small attempt with what has been provided to you.

OCs jobs aren’t to be ranked #7 it’s to score points

The whole team is #7

You know JJ is one of the winningnest QBs in LSU history.

You don’t think we could have done more with a better QB?

Let's revisit this thread next Monday, since that is the day to tell the truth. The line was unable in this game to stop the bull rushes. Whatever it was or is that will help correct this will be welcomed. Geaux Tigers!

Uh what?

There's been a lot of people calling for O's head and what not. I'm not doing that. I think Ed Orgeron has done a great job recruiting. Especially in LA. He's created great relationships with the local High Schools and he's done a great job relating to the kids, etc. He's just a good recruiter.

But if you don't think we need a new OC, I don't know what to tell you. There is never a plausible excuse for being almost dead last in offense. This is the worst statistical offense we've had in years. And we've had some bad ones. This offense is worse statistically than ANY Miles offense. Ever. It's not working. It's not going to work. And it definitely doesn't work against Alabama. So save it. Bad oline or not. Whatever. We need a new offense BADLY.

You can not tell me that SE is the best we can do. If you think that then you have some serious bias. Even the strongest of cheerios think we need a new OC. O doesn't have to admit he made a mistake. He doesn't have to fire anyone. There are ways to do this where it's a clean getaway. We love SE and always will, but for the sake of this program, we need a new offense.
