re: Long leaf Heart Pine Flooring Help

Posted by Rade on 9/25/22 at 7:49 pm to
While that floor may be heart pine it is different from the others in that it has knots and also is not quarter sawn.

Is this an original floor in the house or was it laid at a later date?

If the flooring was from previously harvested timber that was used in large buildings prior to being cut for flooring it would explain the knots since the original use of the lumber was not milled for flooring.

The variation in coloring is not going to change with stain. It can be muted to some degree but not to match the other two examples you posted.
I usually bought Whirlpool and had good success. Since the HE washers have come out it is trickier. I like to fill the basket and not just use a little water. Also don't like the lock feature on the lid. They don't want you to see that there is no water in the tub?

I bought this model because my pop has one just like it for about 8 years and I have been using his washer alot over the past five years (Mom and Dad have dementia). I bought it about six months ago and I like it alot.

GE® 4.5 cu. ft. Capacity Washer with Stainless Steel Basket. GE Appliances GTW465ASNWW

It might not be a big deal. is it a acrylic or fiberglass tub?
Is it tiled in? What is the length?
Let's revisit this thread next Monday, since that is the day to tell the truth. The line was unable in this game to stop the bull rushes. Whatever it was or is that will help correct this will be welcomed. Geaux Tigers!
There is this thing called "Natural Law".... even if you don't believe in God there is a law that applies to all equally.

Alas, this is a deep rabbit hole where truth may be found. The bigger question is does God exist?

STankey, goes soft and defends the choice, mentioning nothing about moving the game. Avoided the discussion of other games being played and recruits being entertained in Gainsville.

LSU needs to go hard on them.

The Plan, the Plan

For poor folk football fans a few things to keep in mind:

1. Folks with money (lots of money) control a whole hell of a lot. money is power. They almost always get what they want. They let poor folk rant, think their opinion matters and then entices the media to tell dirty little secrets and white lies.

2. There is no coherent school of ethics in our culture. lies, damned lies, cheating and stealing.

3. Unless you are Joe Alleva or # 1 applies to you, get you poor tired arse out of bed and go to work. They don't care about your opinion.

So we will never know the TRUTH about any of the crap going on at LSU. It just seems that Mr. Alleva could have said something constructive in support of LSU and the players. If he was not going to discuss it until after the season then he either lied or is incredibly dumb. I think lying is closer to the TRUTH.

your opinion of Miles - go or stay, whatever your pleasure. It doesn't matter much, some will get what they want and some won't.

Miles is sitting on a $15 million dollar contract tangled with a man who makes about 1 million a year. I don't know what the truth is but it sure sounds like a dollar waiting on a dime to me.

My poor tired arse is going to work! anybody with me?

Go Tigers, whoever your coach is ....
Um, you don't have to read it again but your statement is incorrect.
In the Movie "Patton" actor George C. Scott peers out in the landscape at the unfolding battle of tanks before him. Rommel was a war strategist whose reputation preceded him wherever he fought. Patton defeated Rommel by neutralizing what Rommel wanted to do. The result as they say is history.

Les Miles is a mountain of a man who now faces the adversity of "familiarity". His experience and mind is telling him one thing and reality is screaming something different.

This ain't about we need new coach, it ain't about a Heisman trophy, it is about a band of brothers whoa re faced with lingering adversity created by "past performance does not indicate future success.

In a game last year in a tight space Les miles was seen with a snarl on his face to have been mouthing on the sideline to one of his defensive warriors on the field "Fight like Hell!"

That is what needs to happen now "fight like Hell" and read the sings of the times, the game it is a changing.... Change or die!

Go Coach Miles and staff, Go tiger players, Go Tigers!

Fight like Hell .....

Do not buy upper deck tickets if you can afford end zone sets. I promise there is a difference.

So the statistics imply that Alabama is a more disciplined team?

It is enticing to try to save money by not doing the proper planning. Ask for insurance certificate, check it out, check references. $1.00 per square foot more will save you headaches and money in the long run. You can get what you pay for only if you are very careful.

A lesson to learn from Chavis

Posted by Rade on 1/3/15 at 11:37 am
When you get tired and are too old to recruit and change you either bolt or die. Give him credit he bolted for the easy life. At 1.6 mil he ought to be recruiting and making new schemes to prevent the 50 second melt downs.

The game, not practice, the game is changing! Change or die, or move to another team to take cover. Spread 'em out boys and throw the ball more .... then pound them into oblivion....

looking back at the last few days this could be a wake up call for the coaching staff. :geauxtigers:

The next DC contract

Taking bets that the next defensive coordinator is paid more than 1.5 mil a year....
