They were badass, which is why they are still being talked about so much even a year after wearing them.

That uniform with the gold helmet looks like straight Doo Doo. It looks like a crappy saints throwback uniform.

IMO, out of all the alternate uniforms they've worn recently (within the last 10-15 years or so), those are the ones I like the LEAST. They look very conference USA-ish vs. a traditional powerhouse.

If you are good enough you don't need Mickey Mouse gimmicks. The rest of your competitors want to be like YOU. See, a franchise like the Yankees who haven't changed their uniform style, maybe ever

Those uniforms weren’t gimmicks. Every detail represented LSU lives that were lost in 1918.

I don’t love the font but get that it was representative of early 20th century. The helmets were fire, though. Would love to see them again.
