solution is student gets a voucher and then they give the free thing away in exchange for the voucher after the game

When I was a student we sometimes had to get in line hours early, with some people camping out overnight, just to get in to the Assembly Center. How times have changed.

Pass out the giveaway after the final buzzer.. on the front end if they aren't in the building before tip off, then they have to buy a ticket.

Solution is to give people a reason to stay. All this does is make those students stare at their phones all game.

In my LSU days (84-88) we would get to the PMAC with pizza in hand hours before tipoff to get the best seats. Granted we had a good team then and the seats were on the sidelines.
