May be a stretch but they also sell beer and food for 1/2 price for every Wednesday home game. It ends 15 minutes before tipoff. Come in get promotions and cheap food then roll out.

LSU is clueless to be making a stand on this. Are there that many students coming in and leaving just to get a free T-shirt. Put a good product on the court and people are lined up and camping out.

Again this happens at various sports..
I believe they limit the number of students so if you come in and leave you took the spot of someone wanting in (possibly.. ) they give out limited number of stuff so definitely some students come in and stay but do not get a free item
Yeah for the big stuff like the dunking mike hoodie and upside down hat there are a lot of students leaving with item in hand as I walk up to go in..

Last year, they gave out Mardi Gras jerseys for one game. Rather than hand them out one at a time when you walk in, they just had a limited number laid out on the seats in the student section. The students at the front of the line stole every jersey off of the seats and rolled out before the game started. I waited in line for 2 hours to get in and didn't get a jersey while I saw literally hundreds of people just walk in, steal multiple jerseys, and walk out.
