why would LSU accept that? it’s a non-starter.

I agree but their main issue is Lane Kiffin before LSU so when they added that he violated the professionalism clause in the amended court order Monday, they are seeking punishment for those actions and they also said LSU lacks institutional control because they see this as LSU allowing Kiffin to do whatever he wants.

What is comes down to is that if the SEC suspends Kiffin, they will have to show cause with evidence, or they will be open to a lawsuit.
The SEC's best claims would be:
Permitting ineligible players to practice;
Attempting to circumvent conference rules;
Knowingly refusing conference directives; or
Conduct detrimental to the conference through his actions and statements.
All of these would require proof.

They have said that from the beginning. They already posted in court filings they want Half-Season suspension for HC and 50% of Football’s athletic budget in fines…

Alabama and Ole Miss kept saying he would end up at Alabama over LSU down the road. Now they have created this mess. There has to be a valid reason to suspend him. He never played pro players. He has won his only game with college athletes. At this point Sankey has dug such an embarrassing hole with all of this that he doesn’t know how to get out with dignity.

Whereas kicking us out of the conference requires none of that.
So functionally, it's more likely they vote to expel than they attempt to levy a suspension.
ETA: Which is not to say I think they vote to expel. I don't think that happens.

Man, that’s a lot of downvotes for a topic posted 13 minutes ago. Very impressive.

Fk off I didn’t say I wanted this to happen Fkn moron but they will seek punishment! They’ve already said they would so where do misinformed dumb fks like you come from?

You are such a disgrace to the LSU fanbase, your family, and humanity in general. Speak and post less.

Were you just born yesterday???

That is ridiculous. What specific rule was violated? The man has only coached one game and nobody is complaining about that game at all (except Dabo). This is all based on the potential to violate the rules and hurt feelings.
Well now they have no ability to violate their precious new rule as LSU filled the roster spots, so all that is left is hurt feelings.
If the commissioner cannot get over his hurt feelings towards a school or coach, he simply should not be the commissioner anymore. Removing a coach or founding university because you childishly don't like them isn't acceptable professional behavior.

it’s because of Kiffin’s lack of professionalism and LSU’s lack of institutional control.
Do you even know what this means? By my definition Kiffin and LSU have not come close to demonstrating a "lack of either".

He wasn’t born yesterday. He’s just bored and apparently desperate for attention, with no inside knowledge or expertise beyond anyone else on this forum.

It’s fricking hilarious but not shocking that the retards in the NCAA and SEC created the Wild West and are now scapegoating LSU

Not worried. Ole Miss told us he isn’t that good anyways and had nothing to do with their success last year
I think we could march in there with CWJ at the helm and curb stomp them.
