They could but that's a risk they would have to take. Again I dont think this an ultimatum we will or should face. What would Alabama have said in 2010 if they were given the ultimatum of keeping Sabin or staying in the SEC? This is a ridiculous primus honestly that we shouldn't even discuss.

For what? Fine him. For what? What did he do? NOTHING that wasn't legally or procedurally allowed at the time he did it. You cannot punish someone retroactively for doing what was procedurally allowed at the time. They will take the Bedadako situation at AL and beat the crap out of Sankey and the SEC with it. They didn't say a word to AL during and after all of that. And he played 5 games!!

If they were planning to do anything, they would not have postponed the hearing because they know LSU and Kiffin would seek an injunction to stop this.

Heck, they may still be cited for contempt by the judge who issued the restraining order for having coerced LSU into not rostering those players.
