Stop whining about NIL. We are competitive.

Given how often recruits decommit, that's a long time away.

ut its hard to get excited about that in some ways, when after 1 year they will just try to renegotiate and hit the portal

They are free agents every year. Schools have less commitment from players than NFL teams. I don't know why they're still referred to as student-athletes and not what they are, pay-for-play hired guns. Maybe it's because it makes the school seem less special.

This is recruiting. Until they are on campus it means nothing. I am glad we at least have a head start.

Might need to bookmark this.... just in case, you know, they show up but leave after one year for MORE NIL MONEY.

I hope you're right because 2025 is a long, long, long ways away in terms of recruiting and it's borderline miraculous for one player - let alone 3 - to stay committed to one program for that long with the amount of money being thrown at them these days!

Like I said, I hope you're right!

You realize signing these kids is virtually meaningless because of NIL and transfers right?

Pansies, Would you rather them commit somewhere else and btch about we can’t get any elite players to commit or show interest. Or would you rather them commit and try like hell to hold on. I imagine most Coaches and schools are in the latter, but our fans really don’t care which it is they gonna spew, btch, and whine regardless.
1. can’t get the elite to commit
2. Can’t close on the elite
3. Can’t pay the elite
4. Can’t keep the elite
5. And finally the elite we finally got wasn’t elite after all.
CBK and staff are in a No Win situation, Thank God he won 10 games 2x and lucked up and got a no account transfer portal QB that nobody wanted, and was bashed relentlessly on here for 14 months and turned that MFer into a Heisman, whew he’s lucky or maybe just maybe he knows what he’s doing. This college football sht is tough with NIL, portal, kids, money, tampering, parents, grades, recruiting, and relationships. Only One SOB has mastered it and n this NIL era he’s sht the bed once or twice already. We don’t have him but we got a pretty damn good Coach.

Besides Bama and Georgia haven't talked to him yet?? Saban would not let that happen, right?

2025 class? Wake me up when they play a game for LSU.

^^^This. . . is causing me to lose interest in college football. I don't know how coaches can deliver under these conditions. Good luck.

When has LSU struggled to get interest from big recruits in the last 20 years? Its always been about closing and signing them.

News from the Future...

Maybe, but are you blaming the coach who can't talk NIL or negotiate it with the players? NIL is separate from the coaching staff and school. It's technically a booster/fan endeavor.

So shitting on LSU for lack of NIL support is essentially shitting on yourself and your buddies. You know it all ballers needs to start cutting checks.
