9 rushing attempts? We had to have had like 25 plays total in the first half. Nearly 50/50 split. Quit bitching about the play-calling a week later and just realize that the talent is shite
There’s a pretty big difference between 50% and 36%

1st play of the game was a rush for 7-8 yards
First offensive play was a bad pass to sharp.

What the hell does this even mean?

CBK was asked what areas his team specifically needed to improve upon and his answer was the passing game
I mean. That's true. Nuss needs to get healthy so he can hit the receivers downfield.
I think what you mean is you believe we should have run the ball more frequently, which I'd agree with. Not sure CBK recognizing the pass game is limited is refuted by that, though.

Well it’s hard on the family too when everyone in town hates you haha. Coaches often say it’s not the personal effects on themselves that bother them as much as their wives and kids.

It was 2 rushes by running backs. We had 9 rushes total in first half. The other 7 went to wide receivers, including Zavion Thomas who lined up in the backfield on a couple of those.
Part of the problem is that we were down a starting O Lineman (pre-game injury), and our top reserve had to sit out the first half for targeting last week.
And Durham, our starting RB, was also out. Zavion Thomas may actually be the next best "back", and as you state he's really a WR. Then you have a guy who's bounced around positions (Johnson), a true freshman and a guy who doesn't fit the scheme.
That may be why they went with Nuss at 75%, instead of trying Van Buren a series or so. Trying to keep some type of continuity.
It didn't work.

You just told us your brain sees 9/25 as 50/50. We don’t need to take a simpletons advice that only knows one fraction

This could be because....our RB sucks and we don't have a mobile QB. The O line can't block for shite. Basically, we have quick throw to the flats as a weapon.

How many total plays did we run in the 1st half?

Against the team with the worst rushing defense in the sec? Makes sense.

You’re screwing up the narrative…don’t go clouding the punditry with statistics!
