DONT screw with the coolest uniforms in CFB. But one thing is dislike is white cleats. Gotta wear black or purple cleats

Gold-White-Gold is by far the best look and should be worn for most games, with gold-purple-gold for two games per season or so.
I do like throwing in a non-traditional color combo for a nonconference game or two per season and think all gold could be a good look.
I saw a pic the other day of a visiting recruit wearing white-white-gold. Wouldn't mind seeing that sometime.

You and me both, I was happy when they changed them back. The bowl game against Clemson in 2012 was the first time they wore them and I hated them then. I thought it was just for that game but when I saw them against TCU opening the season in 2013 I was very disappointed.
Glad we have the shoulder stripes right now. Makes the uniform look a lot sharper.

Do one with white pants and it looks good. Purple number would look a ton better with a white border around it

Not exactly, all yellow was done before purple tops. At least 1957.
