I posted in a different thread that it really did look like LSU when we were walking back to our car. Trash everywhere... even saw a used crock pot which was obviously too much trouble for that tailgater to clean and take home!

Here's an easy fix for tailgate trash: Go to Walmart and spend ten bucks on a tarp. Spread it out near your tailgate and put all your trash on it. When done, bundle and tie it up, and leave it for the cleanup crew. You've done your part. Hell, I might start marketing these in team colors lol

It always disgusts me to walk that stretch along the tracks on Nicholson after home games.

They don't have enough trash cans because they don't want people tailgating.
Posted on 9/3/13 at 2:44 pm to JBeam
honestly I don't get why people do that. I guess I was raised different. It bugs me to no end to see people litter but to do it at that scale and represent my home state and alma mater makes it even worse.

Meh...I get that the prisoners come and clean up the place after every game. But, is it really that much to ask for people to pick up after themselves?
It's generational. Their parents did it and they do it. Not evolved enough to care or understand what they're doing wrong.
Not enough trash cans around the area? They have these big plastic things called trash bags. How about bringing some of those along and bagging all your shite if there are no cans!
Really reading all the trash enablers and litter excuse makers. Well, maybe more than funny. Truly pitiful and pathetic in any case.

Yeah, the whole trash issue at our own stadium even is a disgrace.
It is what it is. Sad.
I agree. It has been that way at least since the 80s when I graduated. I assume it was that bad even earlier.
Some people just won't clean up after themselves. I can say we never did that when we tailgated as students.

I assume you also bring port a lets or buckets to every game in case there are no bathrooms available at tailgate?

so with this logic, if bathrooms were not provided, you would just shite in the middle of your tent?

I mean we cleaned it up and brought our own bags. Least they could do with $45/spot is provide more than 3 cans per 500 tailgaters.

Have you seen sorority row after their rush? All these freshman throwing trash on the ground.
I don't think this is a LSU problem this is a parenting problem. Don't the prisoners pick all of the trash up the next day though?

students trashed the place
another big gripe of mine for going to games/watching at home. students act like animals and trash at these tailgates. they have no respect for families and people in general and generally treat the grounds as if they were a personal toilet.
they should implement a fine/ban system for people who trash the grounds. would be easy to enforce if you make people register for their spots or GTFO

Not on the middle of the tent. Why would you suggest that place? But If I HAD to take a dump and the were no restrooms, I would find someplace to shite. What other choice is there?

Why you guys so trashy?
There are many threads on the OT about this. Just search for "NOLA/Houston culture".

I'm not referring to the people who bring their own bags and bag everything up.
Its the people who dont even bother doing that and throw all their shite on the ground and leave it for other people to deal with.

Dallas observer should do a piece on fans property being ruined by the damn sprinkler systems. I picked up my trash and all of my property was soaking wet and or destroyed from the high powered sprinkler systems going off. Absolutely ridiculous that they couldn't change the timing on the sprinkler system.

I do not know if this pic true or not but the campus after a game is a mess, I do not understand why every tailgating crew do not bring their own lawn bags nd just police their area themselves, just leave everything in the bags
