Did you forget how the campus looked after the Alabama game?

They should have supplied trash cans. I don't see any in the photo.

Oh I definitely do, but it isnt just the students and it isnt just an LSU problem.

I was at an LSU/TCU tailgate this weekend that was trashed too

Meh...I get that the prisoners come and clean up the place after every game. But, is it really that much to ask for people to pick up after themselves?

This article is ignorant. The TCU students beside us were just as rowdy and "trashy" as us.

ETA: There was not enough trash cans around and this is not just a "LSU" problem

I walked by that very spot(where the trash is) and when we walked by, there were nothing but TCU fans. Literally.

Is it really that difficult to bring a few garbage bags along with your food and alcohol? They can't take up that much space. If the venue does not provide enough trash cans, then you can just leave the full garbage bags in the area. Just seems a bit more civilized that throwing trash out anywhere and everywhere.

This story is completely false - I was there and actually saw LSU students on their hands and knees picking up every stitch of trash that the TCU Horned Frogs left strewn about. If there were so many cops around, why didn't one of them write a citation for littering? The dance floor was actually a shelter for those less fortunate and LSU is always in the right.

let's not get carried away. seriously tho, every major tailgate scene i've witnessed where the students are do the same. they trash the joint. maybe more convienient trash recepticles would help alto i doubtit.

Have garbage bags and put them in a pile after you are done tearing down your tailgate. I don't think it would look that bad if people saw black garbage bags. But, busted foam coolers and empty liquor bottles all over the place is a bit pathetic.

*Keep in mind, I know that not EVERY LSU student trashed where they tailgated.

Yeah check out LSU campus about 4 am after a big night home game. In fact, check some of the stairwells, but wear closed toe shoes.
