Scott Woodward Full Bio
Current Position: Texas A&M Athletic Director

aka The Prodigal Son

At LSU, Woodward also served as the Chancellor’s representative to the athletics department. During his time with the Tigers, the institution’s intercollegiate athletic teams won 10 NCAA national championships, including one in football in 2003.

After serving as a political consultant and legislative liaison in Baton Rouge, Woodward founded a government and public relations firm in the mid-1990s, providing strategic policy direction to Fortune 500 corporations, including clients in the education, insurance and oil industries. He also worked on behalf of the Louisiana Nature Conservancy and the New Orleans Center for Creative Arts, as well as served on the Board of Directors of the Baton Rouge Food Bank.

Woodward earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from LSU in 1985. He is married to Nanette Dicharry and has two adult sons, Michael and Josh Evans.

Herb Vincent LSU Bio
Current Position: Associate Commissioner/Communications - SEC Office

Vincent was the LSU sports information director from July 1988 to July 2000. During that time he was named Assistant AD in November of 1989, and then was elevated to Associate AD for Communications in 1992.

In August of 2000 Vincent became Vice President for Communications for the College Sports Southeast regional cable network, headquartered in Birmingham, Ala., before returning to LSU in 2002.

He earned a bachelor's degree in journalism from LSU in 1983 and worked as a student assistant in the sports information office directed by CoSIDA Hall of Famer Paul Manasseh during his undergraduate years.

After graduating from LSU, Vincent spent the 1984 season as assistant public relations director for the United States Football League's New Orleans Breakers. In 1985, he was assistant PR director for the USFL's Los Angeles Express and was promoted during the season to the public relations staff's top position.

Vincent also served one year as assistant SID and publications director at Louisiana-Lafayette and two years as assistant director of public relations for the Southeastern Conference prior to joining LSU in 1988.

Dan Radakovich Full Bio
Current Position: Clemson University Athletics Director

Prior to his tenure at Georgia Tech, Radakovich worked as a senior associate athletic director at Louisiana State from 2001-06. He had many responsibilities that dealt with the football program and worked closely with then Head Coach Nick Saban, including the year (2003) the Tigers won the National Championship.

Derek Ponamsky Full Bio
Current Position: Lackey for Coach Orgeron

Ausberry supervises and is responsible for the LSU football, men's basketball, and men’s and women’s track and field programs. He also oversees LSU’s sports medicine and research, equipment staff, strength and conditioning staff, the video department, branding, life skills and alumni relations, and he is the liason with marketing and multimedia rights holder LSU Sports Properties. Ausberry also assists the office of LSU President Dr. F King Alexander in external and governmental relations.

Ausberry, a native of New Iberia, Louisiana, played inside linebacker for the Tigers, lettering in 1986-89. He was part of two SEC championship teams, led the Tigers in tackles in 1988 and 1989, and played in four bowl games.

He first served the athletic department in compliance and the highly regarded Academic Center for Student-Athletes. After leaving the Academic Center, he joined the staff of the Tiger Athletic Foundation. Ausberry has also managed corporate relations, marketing, game management, and operations for the LSU athletic department during his time on staff.

TCU's former AD, Chris Del Conte, is now the Texas AD.

private universities are managed differently than public. How the AD navigates these waters through working with the university president and BOS is critical.
Maybe this doesn’t matter in his case since he was at AZ. Just don’t know...
