Joe Alleva did this. He should never have been hired.
Yes we are getting what we deserve. This is what happens when Alleva tried to back stab Les. He fricking sabotaged the 2015 season.

I think Alleva had good intentions of deservingly firing Miles and replacing him with the best coach as possible in 2015. He’s just terrible at execution.

The difference between those guys and 0 is they are sucessful and have more qualifications than the fact that they are from LA.

But Herb Vincent would also be an outstanding choice. Herb was the last person in the LSU AD who was effective at "spin control". It is no coincidence that all of the PR clusterfricks that LSU has been involved in recently have occurred since Herb left.

The real news and discussion is a possible AD change. Don't highjack the thread about the AD. O is the LSU HC. Making a real case now (or not) will not change that fact. Nothing new to see here (in regards to HC), move it along.

When Alleva is forced out, there will be screams of jubilation at the TAF. Alleva's only real positives are internally focused things in the department. I've talked to Joe on 3 occasions -- He is very awkward. Think about how hard it is to strike up a conversation piece with a Tiger fan when you are the AD. And, it didn't hit him up at the grocery store. All 3 times were at TAF deals and I was introduced to him by a TAF person. And, then there is the awkwardness -- he is really brutal one on one. That would be OK if he could make some sound hiring / contractual decisions.
I'm stunned this guy is still at LSU. He has done several things that I thought would get him fired. It really is amazing that he is still here. Maybe he is out of lives at this point.
BTW -- Don't hire Eddie Nunez. Nice guy but Eddie is no Socrates. And, please get rid of Verge Ausburry. $200K per year to schedule shite? Really?
