LSU adds South Carolina shortstop Michael Braswell from the transfer portal. He hit .255/.372/.353 this year.

Will be interesting to see which other vacancies the Tigers use the portal to fill.

Blessed to say I will be continuing my baseball career at Louisiana State University. GEAUX TIGERS!!!!!!

good pick up?

Are we to assume Gavin Guidry won't transition to SS and stay at pitcher?

I assumed it meant he hit 255 as a Fr, 372 as a So, and 353 this past year.

I think he will more than likely come in and play when Guidry goes to pitch.

I wouldn't make any assumptions right now.

Hate to be that guy, but it sure seems like we could have found someone with much better batting numbers in the portal. He did hit better as a freshman than as a sophomore.

Could Guidry start off at 2nd then transition to SS?

This guy is an absolute stud. Had a great freshman year, slumped a bit this year. Needed a change of scenery.

Could also pitch, apparently.

They have no idea. They just see he hit .250 and thinks he sucks.

Both middle infield positions are open next year.

If Guidry can hit he will play short or second. He is a vacuum cleaner. Don’t know how his hitting will translate though.

Is there a better middle infielder in the portal? Not saying there isn’t one, but you obviously know there is one.
