For the guy who asked if we could have another freshman trio like Thompson-Crews-Morgan next year the answer is absolutely not but here’s a lazy brief synopsis of what we do have coming in next year:
Ian Moller
Catcher from Iowa
#12 ranked player nationally (#1 catcher)
Ben Kudrna
RHP from Kansas
#30 ranked player nationally
Brock Selvidge
LHP from Arizona
#34 ranked player nationally
Carter Jensen
Catcher from Missouri
#57 ranked player nationally (5th ranked catcher)
Cale Lansville
RHP from Colorado
#79 ranked player nationally
Luke Leto
SS from Michigan
#96 ranked player (top 25 SS) nationally
This kid is the real deal with a big bat and is also a legit pitching prospect
Those are your top half of the class guys that have freshman start potential. Moller is the only one with very little chance of making it to campus. Heavy on pitching as always.
We also have the #1 ranked RHP in Louisiana, Grant Fontenot out of Lafayette (2nd ranked overall in state).
Connor Simon out of Mandeville who is the 5th ranked player out of LA (2nd ranked SS) is another one that could make some early noise. Reminds me a lot of Josh Smith
Joshua Stevenson (Andrew’s little brother) is another highly regarded instate OF with wheels.
4th ranked class in the country behind only of course SEC schools Vandy, Florida and Arkansas.
