North texas, wake, and dayton are better than syracuse, this is just one of those first big road games to start the year where we throw up a clunker

Tigers have officially mailed it in tonight. Hopefully this is just a one-off and we'll see a better team going froward

It’s bad enough that we suck in just about every area of the game of basketball, including coaching, but the foul differential is pretty obviously slanted. Will baker had his arm grabbed on that last defensive rebound. Ball goes to Syracuse and they get a highlight reel behind the back reverse layup, then they call fountain for over the back on the other end when both guys were side by side.
The Stats say 16-9 fouls LSU - Syracuse but it seems like 25-9.

Considering we went 2-16 in sec play last year and already lost to nicholls this year I’d venture to say it isn’t a one off

That seems accurate.
We are actually playing slightly better teams early this season, I think. So it really shows the team for what it is. Last year was fools gold and then that game against Arkansas made it seem like they were maybe OK. I bought it early and then depression set in.

McMahon was left with maybe the most depleted roster in history. Only 3 scholarship players were left on the team when he showed up. Have to give him time to build up talent and depth
