This loss is on Lane. I think he’ll bounce back, but this shouldn’t have happened. We had half a yard for the win. And we pussied out.

It boggles my mind why LSU has to keep paying outrageous amounts of money to get and then get rid of coaches for doing the exact same thing as the previous coach. The play call on 4 and 1, with over a minute of play, from midfield, is as freaking as predictable as it gets in football!
A) there is too good of a chance of the punt going into the endzone and it ends up being a short punt.
B) The other team has tremendous momentum for getting a stop and the confidence boost that we couldn't get a 1st down and didn't have the calcium to try to go for it.
C) Its a minute of play time, running to the side line, all they had to do was get to the FG line.
Kiffin, Kelly, Orgeron, Miles...etc. What a waste of money!
