Decision has been made, but this is how we end up with a guy on the mound that we aren't sure can get an out.
Cooper was still being effective. Having to piece together 5+ innings isn't a given.
IMO, if a guy is on the mound throwing strikes, you don't make a chance simply because he gives up a couple of big hits. We don't have the quality in the pen to have that luxury.

Yep. Not perfect, but a good outing from Coop. And not the first time this season his defense did him no favors.
