Got to know who was coming up to bat. Bottom of the order, take the chance. With one of our most clutch hitters coming up it makes no sense.

Jordan made that decision before he saw how the ball bounced off the wall and if the LF fielded it clean. Should've been an immediate stop once the LF fielded it on one hop off the wall.
