And if they give false or biased facts to the DA, the investigators are culpable.

I love how even if a cop does a horrid and possibly intentionally falsifying job in collecting evidence, some of you will defend them.

I still can't really understand how him being a couple cars behind the accident and getting back into his lane and slowing down caused the accident. Maybe I'm missing something. Not trying to argue, but would love clarification.
he was 1 car behind it when it happened. Him being in the opposing lane going who knows how fast started this all. The fact that he slowed down to merge at the same time the gold truck was avoiding him isn’t very relevant. The gold truck did his maneuver as a result of Lacy who started the chain of events. Now, the white car was still likely following too close and not paying close enough attention. Both can be true.

You don’t know that. The women that actually hit the other car was driving aggressive at 50 mph and swerved to not hit the gold truck who was cruising. She bears no responsibility according to you.

Im not sure you actually understand what happened.

Every story has Lacy driving recklessly.
He started this chain of events. He flew by 4 vehicles, got into the correct lane, and 1-1.5 seconds later, there was the crash. If I was heading down that road and saw that green charger coming in my lane...I would have stopped, moved or slowed down too. The Funyun lady has her part in this, for sure, but based on that video, the butterfly effect starts with the Charger.

but it seemed well behind the accident before it occurred

If you watch the video, he was a second away from hitting that truck. There was no well behind anything. He was right on top of them.

witness didn't have to evade Kyren

He didn't have to, that's clear in the video evidence as Lacy got back into his lane a football field in front of him. He may have felt he had to, and whether that is reasonable is probably an element of the case.

The fact is at 45mph, with normal braking force (gold truck driver says he didn't brake hard) the woman should have been able to stop in her lane. However, she was likely too close and paying more attention to her funions than the road. She should be prosecuted.

It is ok the data from her car’s black box genius.

But sure, I am twisting things.

For the people still acting like Lacy didn’t cause the crash, how do you explain the fact that all of the witnesses on the scene were telling the state trooper right when he got there that a green charger caused all of this?

Gotta love the person "responsible" for the accident - lady driving the car behind the gold truck. Trooper asked "How fast were you going? Her response: "Speed limit." Hummm

It is also convenient to note that there is no actual video of the accident from the north bound perspective. All we see is the green charger speeding and then getting into their lane just before accident/contact.

The lady driving the car behind the gold truck was the culprit in this unfortunate accident that claimed a life. She should have simply hit the gold truck from behind limiting the damage. Why in the world she veered into oncoming traffic is crazy. Who does that? That is asking for potential serious damage to everyone involved. She was clearly speeding (well over speed limit), distracted, and following too closely. She deserves to be punished IMHO. Bad driving.

The LSP can spin it anyway they want. Evidence clearly indicates the driver behind the gold truck caused the accident. Kyren Lacy based on the video evidence was indeed driving fast and illegally passing in a no passing zone. He deserves some blame in this accident but not to the extent that he "caused" the accident. That's what I would come up with if this thing went to trial and I was on a jury. RIP Kyren Lacy.

That's why CBK didn't rush to jump on Lacy's side in the press conference yesterday. He said that it's best to wait until all the information comes out. Smart move.

He was going 28 mph according to the same video with the defense attorney that told us how fast the Funyun lady was driving.

Here is a better question. Ory has all of this video, testimony, and evidence on discovery - yet he went on TV and presented a heavily edited, carefully crafted narrative of police corruption that could ultimately set this community a blaze. Why would he do that?

Anyone who sees someone driving like an a-hole around them would say the same thing whether it’s 100% accurate or not. Those witnesses only actually witnessed Lacy passing them, not the crash itself.
