Love how Devin White had a personal vendetta against Franks

For flipping to Florida after Franks demanded LSU not recruit other QBs in his class.
He personally wanted to whip that cowards butt and he backed it up on the field.
White is quickly becoming one of my all time favorite Tigers in the short time he has been here.

Was franks flipping really a bad thing? not saying he wouldnt have added depth to the QB spot but i dont see any signs that this kid will be better than Breenan or Narcrosse down the road. Id say he is playing like a true freshman but actually has a year in the system. That says alot if you ask me.

Franks when he was committed to LSU was on the roster of the La Bootleggers 7on7 team. He did not show up much or at all and they had to get the next guy up. His replacement took that team to the Nationals and made the quarterfinals I believe. Call him Lindsey Scott Jr... oops, forgot I was not supposed to mention LSJr.
I think Devin White was on that team too.

It's not Tom Benson that won't draft LSU players. Hell, he's so demented that he probably doesn't even know where he is most of the time.
It's Payton that won't draft LSU guys. I've heard the reason is that he doesn't want to have to answer all the local media questions about local players.

ETA: just noticed from that gif above Franks watched him in once he recognized he was coming. That's a mistake Etling makes too sometimes. He watches the pressure. Once you confirm it's coming, either find your hot route or run immediately. Common but costly mistake. Trying to figure out who was playing LB to White's L from gif. He took Frank's only option away as Frank's recognized blitz. That's how you create turnovers. Great play by both LBs.

You know he wanted to frickin' tee off on Franks but instead just made a good tackle and didn't risking a silly targeting penalty.
We have been really fortunate over the past decade or so to not only have extremely talented middle linebackers but have great leadership skills. They just go out there and do their job without any nonsense.

Against Franks? Have you been watching all the games before this one? Seems to be having a great season. He's the defensive MVP so far.
A good marketing campaign is missing. For some reason, I'm thinking he's going to have a tough time wearing "White Power!" t-shirts.
