Locked on LSU - The Will Wade Double Standard

I know. I know. I've made it very clear how I feel about him too. But, this episode is awesome. There's no bullshite. Just straight calling out hypocrites. Jeff Goodman may go into hiding after this. Also talks about how many international players are across NCAA basketball and how the big boy coaches were right there with Wade going after the same players. This was very well done and worth a listen for anyone that is excited to have Will Wade back at LSU.

So when I first heard that CWW was going to not only go after a few active participating Euroleague players but effectively buy them out and take the risk of them never coming I was surprised to say the least.
Then when you start talking about 3, or 4, let alone 5 commitments/signings, it was dang. Everyone knows he doesn’t care about the opinions of others outside the program (Fans/alumni/boosters considered inside program) but that he would openly upend and take advantage of the lack of regulation you knew it would make huge waves. But he is going after 9-12 commitments basically saying to not only the CBB establishment but the sports media in general, this is the bed you are selling I will buy the California king size version and let everyone know. It is glorious. It says not only we are here but that we are here to win.

The Moscona hate on this board is ridiculous.

I only started watching him to follow the Lane Kiffin coaching search saga and never understood what the board’s beef with him is. Could be older content. He comes off as way more rational than the other Locked On podcasts that auto play live after I listen to him in the morning, out of the ACC especially

I never understood it either. He had the Kiffin and Wade story EXACTLY right. He obviously has high ranking sources in the program that give him great information.

It goes a little overboard, but do you think he’s great? Bc he’s not
That comes with the job, if you’re going to be the radio guy for lsu people are going to criticize you when you’re wrong.

You obviously don’t listen to his daily radio show and even worse, his LSU football postgame shows after he’s been drinking all night.
Buttoned up professional Moscona is good, arrogant shock jock Moscona is insufferable.

Some of y’all need to travel and listen to local sports talk in other places. It’s absolutely horrific

You’re right, I don’t, and I actually can totally see this even with how he comes off on his polished presentations. Makes sense

Locked on is really good. He sticks to mostly the sports stuff on there. His radio show is a different animal all together.

He has no peers in the market when it comes to daily content.
The only person that is putting out the quality of content he does on a broader scale is that whore Jacques Doucet
John Eads is someone we are keeping an eye on as well.

This is part of it, a degree of arrogance that occasionally shows through more often than it should.
You will see as time goes on that with Moscona, when he has good inside info, he can be spot on. When he does not, he is prone to insinuating that he does, but when the info that he insisted was right proves wrong, he will suggest that his source was not reliable. Or sometimes he misrepresents what said in a way to imply that he did not actually say that.

While that is a low bar, it is correct.
I listen to Moscona when I'm driving, and he is on. Occasionally listen to his online content. It kind of feels like he thinks he has to maintain a certain persona to get followers/likes/clicks, and I get that. But I think he inadvertently creates a negative perception of himself in the process.
All that to say that he is worth listening to, and I think he has some access now because Lane is prone to doing that with local media folks, but I would always caution taking his perspective with a grain of salt.

Moscona is a narcissist. He is extremely negative and often is flat out wrong. He obssesses about getting credit for stories and is obnoxious.

No, he is not.

It's very well deserved hate, especially the last few years. He's a complete douche with an ego the size of Texas.

If the NCAA isn't going to set definitive guidelines and rules for G-league or Euro League guys coming to play college, then push the boundaries.
I don't like what is happening but if the NCAA isn't going to reign it in, then I'm fine with CWW doing this.
