I do get he's a bit arrogant and comes across as such if you listen long enough, so small doses work best for me. The segments with he and Russ Mitchell are for me unlistenable with the fake laughing and inside jokes.
But he is capable of hitting the nail on the head like with his rant against Cantrelle during Covid or the one linked here and others. He is smart and he can think on his feet - he knows it - which can be a bit off putting at times, but he prepares well and puts in the time - but he'll let you know he puts in the time too

This is my favorite LSU podcast. I don't get the hate for Matt.
I will say I gave up on the Whiskey and Wine show when T-Bob replaced Jordie. I like T-Bob but this show was pathetically bad.

I’d say the best examples of why people don’t like Moscona is the Bryce Underwood situation where he attacked fans for not believing him and ended up being wrong. The second is literally bringing Ryan Theriot on every Friday for almost a year to do a segment trashing LSU fans. He’s the most exposed LSU media personality there is and he does stuff like that a lot. Of course people are going to not like him.
