People thinking the SEC would expel LSU are nothing short of retards. They may try and fine us but we are a ratings machine and cash cow. This isn’t Mississippi State rioting.

Nevermind Sankey makes Joe Alleva look like a high level diplomat.

My god there are some weak arse posters in here. First sign of trouble they go to the corner and suck their thumbs.

Unless there is something I dont know, LSU hasn't done anything wrong and needs to file a countersuit with quickness. Sankey is a total liberal pos. There is a principle involved here.

While I am no conspiracy theorist type something smells fishy here... It feels like there are other parties behind the SEC scenes influencing their actions..

While Fun Bunch has made some dumb points, he was right on one.

I think everything and just about everyone involved in this is specifically making this a much bigger deal than it is solely to force public opinion. How do you get attention in college fooball? Pick the biggest brand with the most hated coach and include the biggest issue. Everyone loses their shite and begs Congress to "fix" it and get this bill pushed through.

Exactly. It would never happen. SEC just trying to save face.

They are asking the federal court to give them assurances that they will not be liable for doing just that. What do you think "disassociate" means?

Sam Acho is a real one. He's currently arguing that these players deserve the opportunity to come back. He's also one of the smartest guys on ESPN.

Same pusses who kept saying "just make a hire! Just hire someone!!!" while we were finalizing the Lane Kiffin hire, bc it wasn't moving fast enough for them

Then judge said "I get what you're trying to ask and I see that he is not going to answer, but I understand his answer. He is going to follow the rules and the bylaws until the point that he is not going to follow them anymore"

Holy shite. That's a jaw dropping statement from a judge during a hearing.

this seems to bode poorly for mr sankey

you think SEC Presidents phones are heating up saying "we have a problem on our hands" we need to discuss Sankey and his future?

Then the Big 10 will be on the phone with LSU seconds later and we make more money. If Greg Sankey really goes there he’s going to be a case study as famous as Chrysler and the Delorean

ULL will replace LSU in the conference, not Tulane

Tulane was a founding member of the SEC

They'd more likely invite another academic cupcake and former member back before USL

And you know that for sure? The suit was filed prior to the deadline of announcing the roster, when it should have never been an issue in the first place. If LSU wins this thing later on down the road its not insane to think a court decision would supersede another one of the SEC's "rules"

We would be insane to risk it.

Don't forget "just move on, he doesn't want to be here" when Jordan Seaton was deciding between us and Oregon.
