Joubert should feast in that spot they will throw him strikes they don’t want him getting walked with Crews White and Morgan behind him. I love it

Genius move if this was the point of it. Put a fastball hitter in a spot where he is most likely to see fastballs.

I know Jay has said before he likes lefties in the 2 hole and Jobert had a great OBP in spring scrimmages. I think it's a good idea, just don't feel great about him being in LF. It'll be interesting to see how much his defense has improved since last year.

Also it'll be interesting to see if we ever get 6 Lefties in the lineup when Pearson and Beloso get going

How stacked of a team do you have to have for Morgan to be batting 5th?

I'm setting the O/U for home runs by LSU tonight at 4.5

Wind is blowing 15mph at first pitch due north, prayer sent, WMU

For jj that’s elementary stuff

Jobert in the 2 hole seems a little odd. Damn strong lineup though.

He’s hitting pretty well right now. .286 BA, he’s walking a ton .500 OBP. Hit 2 homers. If he can get on base a lot then you get 2 shots at least with Crews and White.

Is anyone planning on starting the game thread? I would, but I don't have WMU's lineup, and I'm doing BPB.

Kling and Jobert will be alternating with other left & right fielders throughout the year, so you get those guys as many at bats as possible. It’s that simple

I like the idea of using Morgan to protect white

NNW at 15 mph would mean wind blowing slightly in from left to right field by my recollection.

Could be some bombs hit to right. I'm calling Jobert for one in the right field bleachers today.

Generally You don’t put guys up in the lineup because they aren’t going to start a lot of games and need AB.

I think We want base runners for Crews, White and Morgan. They both hit well during spring and drew a lot of walks.
