LHSAA suspends Carroll High School football program this season.

The principle did a Facebook live last week calling for an emergency meeting at 9pm on a weeknight for people to show up because the LHSAA had did Carroll “wrong”. Instead of taking accountability she was looking to blame the LHSAA. She failed the school and the kids herself. There’s a reason this is a repeat occurrence. The LHSAA should have done this a long time ago.

The coaches allowed the players to get out of hand. They fueled shitty behavior during the game that spilled over. The refs called the game due to unsportsmanlike penalties.

A large portion of the team was fighting with Assumption “fans”. They deserve everything they get.

The one defense I will give Carrol is, what kind of a-hole grown arse men talks shite and antagonizes a bunch of kids that just got their arse kicked in a high emotion game?

The Assumption admin should be ashamed for their role in that.

Video is pretty crazy… looks like an entirely different country. Not the America I grew up in .

They did very little if anything to prevent way over the top heckling and posturing from the crowd during and after the game. I understand you can only do so much to control individuals but they certainly share blame in not keeping that situation under control.

Of course. But this was a slow burn occurrence that built up and spilled over. That's why assumption has to present an action plan to LHSAA and cant host another home game this year. They share some responsibility.
