On what universe does your DH have one of the lowest batting averages on your team and one of the lowest slugging percentages and still get the start. Another woeful night at the plate for the guy we peg to do one thing, hit. 0-5 smdh

Could have tried literally anyone else at this point. If we are so bad that we have to settle for a DH that bats .248 bc the rest of the roster sucks, then clearly we have a big big problem.

Drost has 19 K’s in 58 AB’s, 7 walks, 1 HBP
Beloso has 14 K’s in 117 AB’s, 18 walks, 8 HBP
I don’t see Drost being successful against the rest of OM pitching
I’m all for him starting midweek to get some live AB’s, he’s not going to improve on the bench

You’re not wrong here. I did watch some of tonight though. Sad that I feel no desire to waste 3 hours of my life to watch this team just make me frustrated, even in wins most of the time. So yeah I elected to do something more product over the last couple of weekends instead of watching garbage

In Cade’s defense, wasn’t Ole Miss’ #9 hitter their DH? Hitting like .171?
I think he even stroke an oppo single to left later in the game to elevate that to .173??

IDK, ask the two head coaches. Did you notice that Ole Miss’ DH had a batting average in the 170’s?
