That really is some bullshite.
He had one bad game, a game against arky identical to the presumptive winner, and an "average" game of 180 total yards against Ole Miss.
Maybe he didn't deserve to win because of his team's record, but not even getting recognized via invite to the ceremony is fricked.
This.
Henry locked it up when he broke Hershel's record on Saturday...

People on here told me I was crazy after the Arkansas game whenever I said he would be lucky to get invited.
And people on here will tell you you're an a-hole for being more excited to be right about Buga being snubbed then upset his all-timer of a season won't get this deserved bit of recognition. Good work, though. You were right.

Personally I think the Heisman is a shite award. However, I wish they would invite 5 players every year. It is a special award for the players and just being invited is an honor. But to have 5 one year and 3 the next is silly. Why not recognize two more players?

He should have gone to Bama. Les will ruin his college career.

They can invite anywhere from 3 to 5 guys to the ceremony correct?
That's my problem with this. The kid led the nation in rushing yards per game, is 3rd in total rushing yards and 5th in rushing TDs despite playing 1 less regular season game and no conference final. I mean he was the talk of football the first half of the season.
He probably wouldn't win it, but the kid deserves to be invited there. Especially considering they can invite up to 5 players there. Kind of a slap in the face really.

This is what most irritates me about the Les Miles situation. That kid put in on the line game in, game out and this piss poor staff and unimaginative play calling let him down. Not happy about 8-3 record, but this guy deserved so much more.

As is typical, Les just takes his best player and runs him into the ground in order to get the 8 or 9 wins he needs to keep the scam going.
Has this ever really happened under Les?
Let's see:
Russell in 05-06 nope
Dorsey in 07, nope
Scott in 08-09, nope
Peterson in 10, nope
Mathieu in 11, nope
RBBC or an offensive lineman in 12, nope
Mett in 13, nope
RBBC or OL in 14, nope
I have no idea what you are talking about

31, 91, 108 against Bama, Arky, and Ole Miss. Obviously an OL issue, but the Heisman voters don't undertake that kind of analysis.
After the 31 yards against Bama, the only shot he had was going 200+ for the rest of the season. But that didn't come close to happening.
Still a hell of a year.

I SUSPECT he'll win it next year.

He had 91 on 18 carries against Arkansas with the O-line whiffing on 75% of their blocks. I wouldn't say that's falling off the map. The "only" bad game he had was the Alabama game. Period.
He had 108 against OM and about 70 receiving.

McCaffrey deserves to win it (though he won't). Dude's numbers this season are fricking retarded.

The bigger issue is that on a team with 8 fullbacks, only one of them was competent. Mouton might be the worst we've had here since the mid-90s.
