But this is 4 games now in a row this kid has absolutely gator armed and missed the catch the exact same way. He had ZERO catches in his time at Oregon. Maybe we jumped the gun on who was to blame there.

I mean, the kid clearly has terrible hands, but that throw was way off the mark.

No you are completely wrong. Sam was 100% to blame

A $5 million QB MUST throw a catchable ball to a WIDE OPEN player in the end zone in the biggest game of the season

Instead, Sam side armed a lame duck throw

Grace is the unluckiest guy I’ve seen in a while. All three throws to him this year, I can remember, have been wide right.

2 or 3 times is unlucky. 4 times plus an entire season at Oregon? Cmon man.

Makes me wonder... is JD LaFleur really that bad that he cant get on the field over that guy?

Did you all think that maybe he is never in the right place for the throw? QBs throw to a spot and expect the receiver to be there. When they are not, it can cause inaccuracies.

We have many posters who claim or think they know how to play the QB position.

Grace is the Bobby Bowden of college tight ends.

I was thinking the same thing…it’s weird it is always him missing a catch off his right or left side

I was thinking these guys have zero chemistry or just bad luck. I don’t think it’s a case of him expecting 44 to drift one way or another. He seems to have just missed him as a target. Can’t fault him for not catching a ball that’s barely in his catch radius.

I thought the ball was tipped at the LOS?

All he had to do was move his feet. For whatever reason modern fans think a QB has to make a perfect throw every time when really catchable balls need to be caught.

44# SHOULD ONLY BE USED FOR BLOCKING, BECAUSE HE SURE CAN'T CATCH THE FOOTBALL.

I’ve decided it must be his fault too. Multiple QBs missing him wide open. I’m not sure how but I’m blaming him.
