Talk down to Grace all you want, but he hasn't been thrown a catchable pass yet, and the one by SL against OM was as bad as any of them.

@ ole miss was not and never was the biggest game of the season. It was a week 3 game and only had emotional hype.

It was always vs Texas, vs Alabama, @ Tennessee. Those 3 games will either make or break LSU’s season.

I agree we need to take that play card and burn it. He looks like he is about to have s coronary when the ball approaches. He is a fullback trying to play TE and can’t get the job done.

dude must be a beast in practice, b/c when them lights come on and it's game time, he looks lost... makes me wonder how bad Lafleur and Anderson must be that they can't get PT over this guy

this is 100% false. Last night, the throw was right in his bread basket.

Give it up. Grace was standing still, wide arse open, in the end zone. All Sam had to do was throw it right at him. Instead, he threw it 4 feet to his right from 12 yards away. Grace was lucky to get a paw on it.

When the Rant decides to scapegoat someone they never let it go no matter the data. Everything gets bent to a bias until a narrative is formed.

This!! Exactly my thoughts

Did it hit him in the hands?

Whether he gator arms catches or not, that doesn't change being able to see with your own eyes what was obviously the throw. It doesn't change reality

The throw against Ole Miss in the end zone? He got some finger tips on an errant throw.

Yes, both can be true. Would he have dropped an on target pass in that Ole Miss game? We'll never know.

Maybe don’t throw to him. He came from Oregon as a blocking TE I think he has something like 3 career catches

As others mentioned, QBs often throw to a spot they expect the receiver to be or “throw him open” if he has a trailing DB or a someone taking an angle on him.

I haven’t gone back and watch the plays, but rule of thumb growing up and playing was always - if it hits your hands you gotta catch it. This applies even more now with the sticky arse gloves they make.

However, if the ball isn’t within a catchable radius, that’s on the QB.

This is probably the baseball player in me, but hit him in the chest with the ball.

No it’s worse! He has zero career catches!
