Will wade gave us great regular/post szn runs with
Cam Thomas
Naz Reid
Tari Eason
Tremont Waters
Trendon Watford
Etc.
One thing about that man is he made damn sure we’d get in a 5 star recruit each season
Our current state of the program makes me want to throw up

Wade was a fantastic coach, and an even better recruiter. He also was very young and energetic, he would have gotten better and better as time went on.
Had we kept Wade last seasons team would have made a run at the Final 4 as well.

Had we kept Saban, we could have gone on a pretty epic run.

Pretty crazy how Wade had multiple NBA players year in and year out and now we're the bottom feeders in the SEC

He did all that with the constant threat of impending sanctions which never materialized but obviously were used to try and steer recruits away from LSU. Imagine how good Wade would be with no threat of the hammer dropping from the NCAA or his own administration.

That team was going to be Top 5 preseason. Huge momentum around the program at that time even under the cloud of oppressive negativity

We’re still pulling a lot of 4* guys and currently have two 5* guys on the roster. Not quite what Wade was bringing in but still more than enough to be pushing for the dance in March.

There’s zero instances where Wade paid a player at LSU. He was sanctioned for “not presenting a cooperative atmosphere” and failing to report “potential” recruiting violations.
