I was upset about Wade being fired but I'm not still bitching about it 2 yrs later. Like I said, get a life. LOL. If Mcmahon gets his recruits next year then I'll judge him a little more harshly. Without a PG this team will be lucky to beat anyone. If Cook get approved they have a shot at being good.

No they don’t and you can’t just keep saying next year when there’s no actual improvement in recruiting and the talent we already have is more than enough to produce much better results. As far as your obsession with fans who are upset, again there’s plenty reason to be both with the previous coach’s firing and the current coach’s hiring and performance.

Brah this is about as good as LSU Basketball can hope for. You just got to make it to have a chance at a run. Plenty of mediocre teams get hot. Except for Matt McMahon's Murray st teams. they lose to 15 seeds( i couldn't help myself)

Go read my history, I talk about him plenty...just didn't bring him up because he had nothing to do with Will Wade getting better and better when his record got worse and worse

Better and better as a coach is accurate. After the first 2 seasons, even though we won the SEC year 2, he began to experiment with defenses because we weren’t up to par in comparison to the offense. In his last year he found something that worked to an elite level on D that could match our offensive production. When you don’t really follow the sport you can’t know this but people who did saw the big improvement in having a top 10 defense nationally to match the consistent top 10 offensive production we’d been getting from his teams. You also ignore that we had 4 starters injured his last year, 2 of them for extended periods of time yet still managed a 6 seed in the NCAA tourney for a coach who was still under 40 years of age.

wade got caught: fact
wade didn't cooperate with his employer in an ongoing investigation on if the two items listed above were a big deal or not: fact
wade agreed to amend his contract to allow if lsu was served with level 1 or 2 violations he could be fired w cause: fact
lsu was served and wade was fired: fact
wade received a 2 year show cause and was also suspended his first 10 games at mcneese: fact

do they just hand out suspensions and show causes for fun? do coaches typically just accept these types of penalties if they are in fact not guilty?

all of theses things actually happened in real life.
