It was Oregon State. However, the worst one was against Miami when they were loaded. We got crushed by the Hurricanes in a monsoon in 1988.

First game ever in Tiger Stadium as a freshman in 2009 home opener was against Vanderbilt. I was wildly intoxicated on alcohol at first, but then on the glory that is LSU football. Absolutely pissed rain that game and was probably miserable for most fans

Auburn 2013 or 15 it rained but not that heavy
Wasn’t that “a stiff dew”? It was 2013 at night. 2015 was a hot af day game that LF7 went off on that poor Aubie secondary.

ETA: I believe Duke Riley blocked a punt that game.

The Tulane game in 1980 was miserable. It rained cats and dogs the entire game. We won 24-7 if I recall correctly

I thought Tulane won 48-7?

I believe the term was “wind driven dew”

but yeah I just remembered it was one of those days because it was at home and I was in Law School

I was coming here to post this. Ha.

I was so drunk I just stayed in my seat through most of the rain with my hand over my cup of crown and coke. Was glorious.

WKU 2015 was a down pour.

2018 LSU vs Ole Miss was a down pour.

2013 LSU vs Auburn was a down pour.

2019 we didn't have one.

2020 we didn't have one.

Don't remember one in in the last 3 years either.

Sort of makes me nervous not going to lie.

You are correct.

I have HS friends that went to Tulane that wear me out about our head-to-head undergraduate record.

1979 Tulane wins 24-13
1980 LSU wins 24-7
1981 Tulane wins 48-7
1982 Tulane wins 31-28

Since the 1982 loss, LSU is 18-0 versus the Wave.

You’d have to go back to the Class of 1933 to have the Green Weenies take 3 of 4 from the Tigas.

30+ yrs ago I was at the 1988 Miami game when LSU got taken to the wood shed 44-3.
Miserable atmosphere due to the constant heavy rain, and LSU getting embarrassed on offence and defense.

I was there. Tigers received opening kick, Hodson could ponly throw five yards into the 30 MPH wind. Miami jammed everything, Tigers punted to the 40 . Miami and the wind drove and scored. Repeat three times in first quarter.Game over.

When it poured during that Oregon State game it was the old tiger stadium, it got louder and everyone had more fun. If that happened today, 1/2 the stadium would leave and not come back to their seat. Let’s make Tiger Stadium Great Again. Rain - or no rain. Let’s go big, no matter the game.

Correct. Times have changed whether you accept it or not.

That game was 20 years ago.
