I suspect is not liking the FAU job. Having the Tenn and USC head coaching jobs and now you are HC at FAU.

He misses the attention and being with the big boys of the Power5.

It would be his M.O. to leave FAU after 1 year to get another job somewhere else. I think he would rather be an OC at a big time program than the HC at FAU.

But he and CEO are friends, so of course he is going to go to bat for LSU. But I think you are right Kingbob, there might be some ulterior motives by pumping up LSU and getting fans on his side for the possiblity of an OC gig again.

Kiffin is a good OC. Too immature to be HC

More excuses.

Only poor Ed has to deal with suspended players and bad calls. Forget his offense with his hand picked coordinator was garbage. Forget the team went into a lull every 3rd quarter it seemed to keep teams around.

A former Alabama offensive coordinator praising and defending LSU is always a plus in recruiting.

He's coming to run the offense.

He also has no buyout if he leaves for another job

With no buyout, at any time Kiffin can say screw this I'll go make a million plus more as an LSU Tiger assistant.

I think Kiffin is a good oc and some people are great OC or assistants.

I think he and O would be a good fit cause Lane is an offense guy and Aranda is defense guy and let O manage the program.

LSU would be tough to beat with those Co Ordinators and the talent on the team.

Our only problem is Bama still owns the commish and refs.

I like Kiffin as a oc. As a HC forgetaboutit. He will never be a good HC for any program. Face it, he cannot earn the respect of players. He was a good Oc at Alabama, but hell, he had Saban on his arse all the time. And he had quite a string of assistants and PLAYERS! Sometimes if it looks good on paper but it might just be toilet paper with a bunch of crap inside. Let Kiffin stay in Florida.

Kiffin was pretty accurate in his comments. As suggested up thread, I think he's trying to stay in the conversation as an option if Coach O is asked to leave.

Lane Kiffin with LSU's talent would be formidable.

He’s in year 2 at FAU.

At yet, he’s the HC at FAU, not an OC at a big time program. He left being an OC at the biggest program (whether voluntary or not) and by all accounts had an offer on the table to be one with his “close friend” at another, and still chose to be HC at FAU.

Every coach has emotional ups and downs. Kiffen is O’s friend and mentioned that he was disappointed - like all of us. Your post is rooted on ignorance and shallowness and hate if I. frick you.
