So you are saying Brad Davis can't coach him up to play at LT?

Campbell is better than him. Heard's actions tell me that he has already decided to leave. See you later.

Lance hurt his team trying to extort money, is not aligned, and should be ran off.

What is the big deal about left tackle? Do left tackles earn bigger contracts in the nfl or something?

So tell me you did not watch The Blind Side where Sandra Bullock gives a monologue about the the evolution of the Left Tackle position being the most valued in the NFL... because he protects your multimillion dollar QB/franchise on his Blind Side.

very narrow minded and foolish. he wants money. money is how games are won in professional sports. this is professional. money is 1/2 the equation of how bama won those championships.

If he wants to play left tackle there’s 3 things he can do.

1. Get better and win the job.
2. Dig in at left and don’t play right sitting behind Campbell until he leaves for the NFL.
3. Leave and pray the grass is greener somewhere else.

leaving LSU is a lifetime decision. He’ll be a big time player and God willing he stays healthy he will play in the NFL. Doing it in a different place bc his path is not going the way he feels it should would be a bad decision.

He has waited his WHOLE freshman season waiting for all of his desires to be fulfilled.
No wonder he has had enough…

Well, he did very little and wasn’t planning on leaving. Now he might leave. People probably were waiting to see how he played next year and giving him benefit of the doubt.

This really has nothing to do with playing left tackle. He made a comment which was tongue in cheek because he knew his friend and teammate Will was playing there. This is about $$$. Period. And about people in his ear that are not telling him the things they should. He's a kid who appears to be getting told he needs more $$$ by some people who have influence over him. I don't think he really cares where he plays. He just wants to be paid what the starters are getting. Not sure BK has much to do with that.

not so much as it once
Was.

When you look at NFL salaries now, guards are making damn near as much as tackles. What the NFL has learned is bull rushing DTs collapsing the pocket and not just eating up space is worth the investment in guards.

Take a look for yourself.

Yes, Campbell is the better player. This move by Lance, not a good one. He’s not any better than the starting 5. He would have a shot next season to start. This is not a good move with coaches and teammates. The Pros also keep an eye on stuff like this.

Whomever is in his ear, not giving him good advice. He should have played in the bowl game, then worried about next year.

If some school is promising a starting spot, that would be a mistake on their part. Same with a money offer.

Want to see this one play out.

He did the same thing in high school. He went from Bastrop to Neville just like he will go from LSU to Ole Miss. I’ve seen this movie before and have had a front row seat.

Meanwhile , the LT who he wants to be compared to is with his teammates at the bowl game preparing to play as hard as he can.

it's also odd because he had to play RT when he was on the same Neville team as WC lol

Lance Heard should be told that he is welcome to go elsewhere if he thinks that he should play LT, but that we have a Left Tackle right now who is better than he is. If he wants to play LT at LSU, he will have to beat out Campbell.

Sitting out of the bowl game because you’re pissy about NIL is a terrible look. If I were a teammate I’d want him to go ahead and transfer.

A lot of us played ball with guys who had a wide range of personalities . Some were smart, some were not, but almost everybody understood and adhered to basic concepts of loyalty and not quitting on your teammates.
Lance seems to struggle with both concepts.
