Never attended LSU and I can tell you I’m as dedicated or more so than any LSU fan you’ve seen. LSU is beloved throughout our state and our only major flagship school with many players we have seen or played with. Most of our boys are home grown or a majority and they represent the Louisiana.
I don’t think it carries as much weight as you think it does. I think it means as much to those who never attended LSU.
May just be that they have a larger more regular fan base. See NFL. Plenty of teams that have a larger than normal core, even when they aren’t very good

What else do you think would be going on in a place called ‘College Station’?

Is it easier to attend a game at Kyle Field compared to the shitshow at LSU?
A&M is also the third or so largest school in the nation. 63,000 students. They are located 90 minutes from the 4th largest city in the USA.

While true.. the wrong fans are going to the games nowadays. Including the trash students. It's as bad as it's ever been. Getting worse and worse by year. Kids only show up if we are good. Which we haven't been. Now that we look decent they show up but have never been to any games so they have no idea what to do. Probably don't even know half the student section chants.

It's 100% harder. Basically every fan has to drive in. LSU is in a moderately big city FILLED with fans. But not worth arguing. LSU fans will ALWAYS make excuses for why the crowd sucks... Traffic, heat, distance, better to watch at home on the couch, etc etc... As if other Southern teams don't deal with ALL that shite. Hell teams in the big 10 sell out in the fricking SNOW. Can you imagine if it ever snowed for a game at Death Valley? 20% full maybe

My son was in the Auburn Marching Band the last few years. Last year, he traveled to both LSU (full band) and Texas A&M (pep band).
He said that Kyle Field was unquestionably more intimidating.
Now, part of that may be that it was last year, and LSU fans certainly were not that enthusiastic about the team. But, Auburn played LSU at night and Texas A&M during the day. Also, while we all know about the troubles of the 2021 LSU team, we did lead Auburn almost the entire game.
I was disappointed to hear his assessment.
GEAUX TIGERS!

aTm has competent leadership and has not been on a mission over the last few years to destroy the traditions that make the atmosphere great. LSUs handling of the tailgating, neutering the band and bowing to every single left wing whack job scenario you can think of has really hurt game day. Woodward is an absolute clown and LSU taking him is the best thing that happened to aTm.

I haven’t been since 2016. Flying in next week. What’s the biggest changes. Parade grounds were always college craziness. Bell Tower through quad and Indian mounds down to the PMac we’re always good alumni/local setups and west side to me was always the commuters and RV lots. What’s changed?

Their stands were not even full in the 1st quarter. Both upper end zones had big "holes" where few fans were.

There are threads on their board all the time about people leaving early and how dead it is.

You would be a good person to assess how "it's" changed since you haven't been in 6 years.
I haven't been since '19. No plans to support LSU in any way financially until Gen. Middleton's name is restored on the library and there's an apology for turning TS's lights into Floyd's HS's colors. No sense of honor whatsoever.

I’d like to know their home game win % at night compared to LSU which is right at or about 75%.

I don’t know about that. Those weirdos are waving their white T-shirt’s around all night while they jump up and down, lock arms and sway, and stand up.
Screw that shite. I stay till the end period, but if someone wants to go drink at the tailgate, who cares? At least we are not those weird arse cult members that are aTm.
