I know Tex 4&8 is a complete dumpster fire, but I am impressed that with being 3-4 they still have stands full. Yes, it could be a 15th ranked team, but what does 4&8 do that their fans care so much more to go watch a terrible team?
I hate everything about 4&8, but their fans are passionate to go watch them play.
A big difference from what Death Valley has shown on down years.
Any thoughts?

Their last championship was before wwII, regardless of the media hype this is where they are used to being and they have a loyal cult following.

Their environment as a 3-4 team against Ole Miss is better than Tiger Stadium will be against Bama next week with the west on the line, lol. Death Valley is ruined for all but maybe 1 game every year.

They’re a cult. It’s honestly weird as shite that they’re so dedicated with such a mediocre program

LSU fan are there win or win. They have more important things to do than support their team; like drive home before the traffic gets bad. See the stands in the 4th quarter. Or like sit home and watch tv for any of a 1000 reasons.

One has more t-shirt fans than the other.

T-shirt fans don't care as much when push comes to shove.

Kyle Field is pretty accessible in terms of parking and traffic, for one.

Watching that crowd tonight at Kyle for a team that is on a definitive downward trajectory is impressive as hell.

You almost have to root for them to turn it around, and to put a quality product of the field. Their fans f'cking deserve it.

Accessible to whom? Houstonians are 1.5hrs away, yes. Dallas, not so much.

Their fans can get home in 20 minutes because their traffic is better

All answers seem legit. Definitely brainwashed but good for college football nonetheless.
I wish we could figure it out on the fan side so that Death Valley would be (without question) always the hardest place to play everyweek.

Less t-shirt fans (those who did not graduate from or is descendant of a graduate) than LSU. And sociology economic wallet is deeper. Results in being more committed being in the seats.
