Herbie is just saying Texas to get people talking. No different than picking Notre Dame, Michigan, or Florida. Each are good enough to be in the talk, but missing key position depth. They are not returning national title winners, like other teams. They may have good players, but will not run the table.

You really think their '19 signing class was #3. Their highest rated player (5* WR) never made it in. He ended up at USCw. Some texas fan had a post where losing him dropped their class to #9.

Go look at OUs schedule. Find me two loses on there
They have a joke of a road schedule and will be double digit favorites in every game except Texas. They rival Clemson for easiest schedule

At least you finally added "except Texas" to your posts.
On the road at Baylor and Okie State should be interesting. I wouldn't chalk those up as wins just yet. But yeah, it's a pretty easy road.

Yeah, I think Texas will be good and will excel in the Big 12, but I think they lost too many guys on D to make the playoff (unless a 2-loss team gets in).
