No, the fact he posts a daily quote does not make me angry nor do I find it strange

Never said it makes me angry.

It’s also very obviously him running it.

Ehhh, you'd be surprised how many public figures have handlers for this stuff. They come up with a "brand voice" for the accounts and everything.

I only see it when I look at Twitter. There are post I probably miss, I don't go and look at what he post, but I have no problem with him being an open book.

Now if it hurt recruiting and he isn't winning games it would be a different story, but knowing he is in a coaches group text with Kirby Smart, Sark, etc sometimes I could picture him telling them "watch what I tweet about next" and then they all laugh depending on how people respond to it.

But the good think about it, you can control what you see. You can not go on X, you can hide him or unfollow him and then its not in your face. Its definitely not forced on you.

What about the nepo hire at Co-DC, that’s much worse

Most assistant coaches always follow their head coach. Our new RB coach has been with Lane for 9 years. Is that nepotism?

Coach has the right to choose his staff. He will answer for it if they can’t win

It's all fun and games until he loses a game or 2. The rant should be a fun place next football season.

I always laugh at the responses to threads like these. If you went back 6 months to any thread mentioning Brian Kelly having a terrible personality, 95% of responses were defending Kelly. Now everyone hates him of course.

The social media stuff with Kiffin definitely gives off “bored suburban white woman” vibes But hey if it’s part of his process then who cares.

I just hope he doesn’t try to get too gimmicky with our uniforms.

Have you even looked at his experience? Not to mention his dad was also a great defensive coach being they are brothers!

Oneofus Raymond is still coaching the cornerbacks at LSU. (And didn't originate DBU) That was Ron Cooper, who is currently the Head football coach at Long Island University.

I couldn’t stand Steve Spurrier at Fla.i always said he was an Ahole, but if he came to LSU he would be my Ahole. Why because he’s a winner, bottom line. There ain’t no saints coaching college football, especially winners.

Chris Kiffin is the LB coach and way more than qualified for that role. We all know who the DC is.

If Lane would have run Blake or lost him to Tulane, and put his brother as DC, that would have been a concern. But, it was pretty obvious that Lane was putting out feelers for a DC in case Baker left.
