The Oklahoma press caused problems for the LSU girls. Pressing is how you get your team back into a game. Oklahoma rattled our players and our passing was very bad at times. We need to use bounce passes more often when the press is on. Our turnovers from their press achieved their desired outcome, which allowed Oklahoma to close the gap (24 pts.). To me this is a great teaching point for coach Mulkey to get across to her players during their practices, so that we do not repeat the problem again. Good clean passing will break this type of pressing.

Ask Lane Kiffin how it’s working over at Ole Miss. I expect for Mr. Kiffin to be gone after NIL funds run out in Mississippi. It’s hard for first year players to make a right fix through going the NIL route.

Good point because CBK missed on the House hire and had to double back to get Baker. Apparently hiring a legitimate NC staff is too hard for Kelly to do. Obviously, the people are few in number as far as availability in the marketplace for excellent OC/DC and their staffs. But, isn’t that the purpose of making the hire of an experienced HC in the first place. This experiment is not working out for us fans. I’d have to say CBK is officially on the hot seat at this point. This is your sign coach!

Tiger365, your take is good except we were out planned and out coached sir because our players did not know how to stop the triple option after Reed took over the QB position in the second half. That was a great coaching decision and won the game.
I agree that Nuss made bad decisions. It’s hard to have success with repeating over and over bad plays that the coaching staff sends into the QB. The throws to the sidelines killed us because their CBs were expecting those throws. Nuss did a better job of distributing the ball in the first half of the game. Physically, we matched up okay with A&M. They were more experienced, better prepared with a much better game plan and they executed their game plan better then LSU.

LSU needs to learn from this embarrassing lost to A&M. The second half is as bad as it gets. The coaching has much work to do with all three phases of the game. Out coached and outplayed in the second half. Reed is good but we made him look like Superman. I was looking forward to LSU stomping a hole in A&M… I’m really down as a fan after this beat down. Kelly needs to get a grip on the current situation or leave town.
