Why the frick would Freeman leave ND with all of their built-in advantages?
Dumb take.
Dumb take.

I pray for utter humilitation of that leprechaun going forward and hope Aggie hangs 100 on us to serve as the catalyst in getting rid of him.

Well shite. This guy must be one of the most chilled guys around since he has never had to worry about that since he has been at LSU.

Kelly’s demeanor seemed to be more pleasant and relaxed in Monday’s press conference.
It was actually the exact opposite. He looked as nervous and uncomfortable as I've seen him at LSU. He looked like he was ready to get attacked for the loss and instead the local media gave their same old cream puff questions.

Leaving ND for Penn St wouldn't make much sense.

There is NO difference in Freeman and Kelly.
The players like Freeman MUCH more than they liked Kelly.

Honestly, he probably feels a bit inept and embarrassed (at least he should). I thought his demeanor represented that. He isn't cutting it and he knows it. Perhaps he had a "come to Jesus" meeting with someone who sits on a higher perch than him.

ND was happy to see him go
No they weren't. They went into full panic mode. Brady Quinn even talked about how him leaving spooked the collective to get up and get moving. Notre Dame fans still are butthurt about him leaving. They might be happy he's not doing well right now, but that doesn't change the full meltdown of their supporters when he left. The jilted lover syndrome was real with that group.

Yup, his legacy is cooked. An absolute blow out in his only NCG appearance. Getting blown out in the SECCG. One Heisman winner which I give him credit for recruiting $10M/year as one of the highest paid coaches to never reach the CFP
And he’d retire as the 2nd winningest active coach and 4th in win %. Separate facts from emotions and you will realize he’s a better than average to good coach. But I will agree he’s over his head in the SEC and falling further behind in the current landscape. I think the mega contract has made him too comfortable and he’s lost his fire.

You suck more as a fan than BK does as a coach,

Could you imagine Notre Dame going from Brian Kelly's lows
That most recent "low" for Brian Kelly's ND program was a playoff birth.

I have a feeling BK will try to get Tommy Rees to come back

This is ….. quite a stretch. Unlikely? Improbable.
