You’re only complaining bc you heard it. Players in every sport talk like regularly
The pitching coach needs to change. It was a pathetic job this year and in 2024. We’ve had a historically bad season and that cannot happen at LSU. A&M improved when Yeskie left. The situation is so bad that if you had a son who was a pitching prospect, you could not let him go to LSU if Yeskie stays
I agree with this, which is why I hope we see yeskie take some type of minor league job or something. He obviously knows the game, but it doesn’t seem that he is best suited for this job.

Y’all were saying the same crap about Wes Johnson when he was our pitching coach

No, “we” were not. Johnson was a superior coach. Just like there are superior coaches that I hope to see replace yeskie next season

It is not laughable to look at these results and call it awful. These are big time prospects that are struggling and you’re not seeing that somewhere like A&M this season. I think LSU could do better

I really don’t understand how the rant regularly wants to call for someone’s job, but then defends an awful coach like yeskie. The Pitching staff improved when he left his last job and we won in spite of him last year.

We caught lightning in a bottle with Anderson and Eyanson. There are so many talented arms on this team that are wasted. I would love to be wrong but a lot of people did not want him to follow Johnson here at the time
If it’s not too late, go ahead put my name on list. Not a big dea—we just won a couple of championships and we’ll win another soon
You guys are right, let’s base everything on this one game. If you watch every game, you know that our pitchers’ development is a major issue
If we keep that up, then great. But all pitcher except Schmidt have regressed. Never seen an LSU staff struggle to throw strikes like they have this season
Saying no to this would just tell us that you didn’t want LSU play last year
You no have evidence that this is true. You made this up just like other posters. Nussmeier is a talented QB who wanted to be here and he was ruined by this abysmal offensive system and injuries.

Even if he sucks, that’s football. If you hate every player that doesn’t play well, then this game isn’t for you

I don’t care about the email situation, but again you have your head in the sand if think other coaches won’t use that against him in recruiting.

A major SEC program will not hire him, and if Florida does, then we should be excited to see them be the new Miss. State. Just bc you saw him on espn a bunch back in the day doesn’t mean he’s perfect.

And using Napier as an example is nuts. Everyone with sense new his whole act was bs and his offense was mid, but again people were fooled by the media firm he fired to promote him

Wanting to hire Gruden is so stupid it has to be a troll. An old coach who has been out of football. No college program building experience, and managing college football is nothing like the NFL. And how do you think recruits would take those old emails that got him fired?

I’m not a Riley fan either. Not sure which big offensive coaches would be interested in LSU, but Brady is an NFL guy. If we were to hire a coordinator, it would be have to someone from a major college program with experience under a successful head coach who has built a program.

Crazy how out of touch with sports reality people are when, especially those who read messages boards.

Hiring an NFL OC with no head coaching experience at LSU is an absurd idea, even if he wants to come back to college. Realistic options are taking the gamble on successful lower tier college programs. Sumrall is a prime example
You mean pretty much the same highs, but much lower lows like losing to NIU and Marshall under Freeman?

Get off the board pussies
There is a real chance that he stays at Vanderbilt and builds the program for his alma mater . Vanderbilt has plenty of money to compete if they have a coach to get booster support. And Lee is definitely deserving of investment from them
Thanks for this man! I would have been screwed without this post!!!
