These games at 2pm are embarrassing for a program like LSU. Playing the empty stadium weekday afternoon game and wasting ticket sales.

You're absolutely right about this. I think Reid has done well defensively at 1st, but I never thought Beloso was bad defensively. Beloso and Reid with someone else at DH is a better option than Hug...

Hughes's value to the lineup is negative. Not only is he an almost guaranteed out, but he affects the hitter in front of him. By not posing a threat, pitchers can just pitch around the hitter in front of Hughes. And it's not like Hughes is a star middle infielder--he's an OK 3rd baseman at this poin...
