There were a metric frick ton of them.

DL was very close to having 4-6 sacks

I remember him slipping a bunch of tackles and throwing it up across the middle to open receivers.

It was aggravating on both ends. Not getting him down and then no one anywhere near the receivers.

Truth. Could not capture that dude. He was very elusive. Hell, make some of those tackles or sacks and different outcome maybe.

I thought he played extremely well. Yes we had blown coverages and needed to tackle better but he was pretty amazing on 3rd down evading the pass rush and making some difficult throws

Shades of the Arkansas game of last year.

The tackling attempts on the FSU QB reminded me of the horrific tackling efforts last season of then Auburn QB Bo Nix, but maybe not quite that terrible.

They got very lucky.

I feel like we haven't had a really great tackling team since Les. Not saying Les is a better coach, but I think that's just a downside to less physical practices.

Jay Ward had him dead in the crosshairs and refuses to wrap up. Goes for the boom every time

Seemed like a lot of DBs and LBs just blowing past the QB. Didn't break down at all. Was trying for the blow up hit instead of the steady play. Can fix that.

Some of that I get. A DB flying in there untouched on a blitz is getting there fast as possible disrupt the progression of the play. They do compromise a more sure tackle. But it was happening too often.

I knew I saw a lot of "dead to rights" potential sacks/tackles, but 16 is jaw dropping.

The problem is this is something you would expect a coach of Kelly’s caliber to fix BEFORE the season starts
