Brown, Anderson and Thomas need to get the ball and quickly after it is hiked. Some of these pass plays are too long in development and Nuss did not do a good job with his down field throws tonight. Weak armed, high, throws, etc.
I wasn’t impressed with Sloan last season and nothing has changed in that regard.

That was always Bear Bryant's schtick. They'd beat someone like Appalachian St 84-0 and then in the post game comments he'd say, "We got out coached, out played, out hit, and out hustled. We lost that game in every way except the scoreboard."

Head coaches love games like this. You won the game but there’s plenty of things on tape to fix and in turn keep the team and coaches focused on getting better. It also grounds them after coming off a great road win where all they heard for a week was how good they were
