Now that Lazy bastard is crawfishing and trying to convince us fans that 3 loss seasons are a huge success.

Enjoy your endless years of Cheez-it bowls Brian

Doubtful. I truly think he believes the team is ready to play every week and it's those pesky players fault.

We'll see. He's getting roasted in the national media.

Of course he is. fricker fakes being mad by slamming the desk when he doesn't have his team ready for the opener, then completely shits the bed, walls and ceiling with aTm and Bama.
All the while he can grin and shrug it off while cashing his Lotto checks.
Unfrickingacceptable

it seems that he just doesn't know how to coach up players and put together solid game plans that help his team offset weaknesses and take advantage of what an opponent's are.

He’s a lazy coach who expects his coordinators to come up with game plans and schemes. I doubt he even knows that much about fundamentals.

Those losses were pretty bad losses. He's a fool.

That’s the sound of a man who is satisfied with his career and his bank account. He’s not going to go the extra mile at this point

Bring back 2 loss Les

2 loss Les died on 1/9/2012 and never rose from the dead and LSU is more of a 3 loss program than a 2 or better loss program. We just have the national championship pops every 4 to 5 years.

Since 2000 when Nick Saban took over, LSU finished with 2 losses or better in following seasons:

Saban:
2003 - Champs

Miles:
2005
2006
2007 - Champs
2010
2011 - Runner-Ups

Orgeron:
2019 - Champs

There you have it folks. 3 losses is a satisfactory outcome worthy of citation for Big Game Brian

That’s not what he said. He was asked about the “state of the program” which is a pretty dumb question. Do you expect him to say “I’m an idiot and I’m doing a shitty job?” His job is to get the team to move on and ready to play this weekend, as well as continue to sell the program to recruits.

Wrong. He specifically cited 10-3 in our last 13 games which includes a 29 point loss, a 15 point loss and a loss to a 5 loss USC team, as a reason for confidence in the program. As proof that he knows what he's doing and shouldn't be questioned.

He didn't say hey look at where things were when came in. 5-5, 6-7. We got the program back into 10 win seasons which is a step forward but it's not good enough. 3 losses won't get you to the playoff and that's our goal. No, he said we're 10-3 in our last 13 games, I know what I'm doing.

Thank you.
Not one mention of losing
Harold freaking Perkins
And all the other players.

We’re building a program. It takes a minute.

It’s so funny he’s always talking about a “championship program” when he’s never won a championship at this level.

There's a pretty convincing argument that Kelly was never going to be a Championship coach, that he always loses the big games. But, he's gonna give you a respectable record.
And he is 62 yrs old and has a ten year, $100 mil contract an doing what he has always done. No more, no less.
And he has 60 million reasons to just play it out and ride off into the sunset.
If he does, you really cannot blame him.
You blame the guy that put him in the position to do that...

You can say this about all but a very small handful of guys.

Who is this mystery man who would've been a good hire?

I cannot be convinced that he doesn't want to win a Championship and he wants to just coast off into the sunset. Now it sure looks like from the outside that hes content with 3 losses based off the interviews this week. But the reaction he gave after losing week 1 and him tearing Nuss an arse after the 1st int against the Aggies kind of says otherwise.

But his track record of not winning a championship cannot be argued. Whether that changes during his tenure is up for debate but we are not where we want to be in year 3. Now, I approached this season as a rebuild just from the people we lost but year 3 is always one of the benchmarks for a Coach.

If year 4 is anything like this one then I would be more willing to say his entire tenure will be like this. But I am not quite there yet.
