I don’t even agree with that. LSU fans live in an LSU bubble there are a lot of people in New Orleans that are not LSU fans.

So we have a a great position coach who moves up to the NFL. What an honor! Every single thing this great coach promised these recruits is still there, every promise can be kept, every dream can still be fulfilled. Go Tigers! Keep up the great work of hiring great coaches who can make the dreams of these great recruits come through and continue to build a solid and strong defensive line!

Do you think Kellen Moore gives a frick?

There has to be a bridge there before you light it on fire.
It’s also hilarious and pitiful that you think anyone in the Saints Organization, especially the new head coach, give even one frick about this and how it affects LSU football. You have to be delusional to actually believe it.

He should not give a single shite.

Given that most people in Louisiana are Saints fans, this isn’t something we’ll feel too strongly about one way or another.

Compensation……and in the new college football climate.
Things are different now and Bo made a business decision. This is not about allegiances and these things that no longer matter at the collegiate level.
Went from semi pro to pro. Congrats Bo!

Even if they lose in the wildcards, if the Saints make the playoffs next season no one is going to give a shite about him hiring a coach from LSU.

Saints aren’t sniffing the playoffs any time soon. Worst cap situation in the league by a long shot, old and non productive roster, fragile QB that is inconsistent at best.

Well, this is quite pathetic.
First, Moore’s job is to make the Saints the best team he can. That means hiring the best staff he can. If he feels Davis makes the Saints better, then it is Moore’s job, and only obligation, to make that hire.
Also, who’s to say Davis didn’t reach out to the Saints? College is becoming more and more of a pain in the arse. In addition to having no offseason because of recruiting obligations, now coaches can spends months/years recruiting players…only to have those guys bail after one year, or even before signing day. Then, if they do come to your school, they are constantly trying to renegotiate their “contracts”.
Davis is far from the only college coach to bail for the NFL…he won’t be the last. Hell, Texas’s DB coach also left for the Saints

I knew several in Metairie. LSU in the most popular college team by far but by plurality or small majority at best.

His job is to win games for the Saints so no he shouldn’t care that a couple of fans of a local college are melting he hired a coach from their staff.

Lol!!! Nobody in American sports cries and makes excuses more than New Orleans Saints fans! You people are pathetic and always blaming others for your failures!

Whats clear is you need to stop starting retarted threads with all the little retarted things that pop in your retarted head. How's that for clear?

Please name one of these so called bridges lol? And if there are, Kellen Moore will gladly say, “The bridges I burn will light the way.”

That's how I see it. Moore made an offer, Davis accepted.

Why are you so sensitive? Are you saying we are making excuses for failure by hiring a good coach? That doesn't even make sense.
