I disagree. Clemson was selling out to stop the run, and we would have gone 3 and out. Les did the right thing. It resulted in a third and one, on which Clemson stacked the line, and we ran a little two yard route to the flat which was WIDE OPEN. Well, that’s all a coach can do - put your top player, Mett, in an easy situation for the win. All Mett had to do was throw a two yard pass to a wide open receiver, and he had plenty of time. He threw the ball into the ground instead. Hard to blame the coaches.

I agree

This is stupid nonsense from you. By the time we played them, they had already had back to back 10 win seasons and Tahj Boyd had statistically the best season for a QB in Clemson history.

That Clemson offense brought in Deshaun Watson. That Clemson team already had the trifecta of it's staff with HC Dabo, OC Morris, and DC Venables.

I agree it is a stretch, but Dabo himself credits the real turning point of the program was beating LSU.

He constantly brings up the importance of that game for their program and where they are now.

Aroundall the ridiculous in-fighting on the board, there are posts like this that keep me coming back for more. Well done.

Was at that game, kind of sensed that was the definitive start of the decline

I was there as well and saw it differently- LSU had bigger dreams that year and Clemson was amped. It was their biggest win in 2 plus decades and they beat us by a point on a last second fg...I mean it sucked but cmon....

What do you mean. We attempted like 23 passes the whole game for way less then 200 yards and rushed for less then 100. 99actually

“ les Miles trying to win the Clemson game”

I find it interesting the Clemson loss is mainly attributed by some to the HC and not the OC or DC or players. The A&M loss is mainly attributed by some to the OC or the DC or players, take your pick, but not the HC.

Go figure

We had the want to design the O rings properly, but apparently we did not have the chest.

You see, if Miles would have just run the I-formation toss sweep to the short side of the field one more time, the Challenger would have been saved.
