I believe the Oscar is safe, but he actually did a pretty good job. Most of the movie focuses on the internal arguments the night before the launch about the potential for O ring failure because of the cold weather.
In an ironic twist for Tiger fans, Miles’ character is hell bent on taking to the air rather than staying on the ground.

NASA should’ve run the toss dive.

O ring failure could also greatly effect Les’s real life legacy

So his final call was toss dive to the short side?

No it was for the engineers to quantify their data and go airborne

Les miles tried to win the Clemson game by throwing all 3 downs. If les miles runs the ball, lsu gets a first down and Clemson’s program doesn’t take off.

I thought it was a fake movie trailer like Crocodile Dundee's Son with Kenny Powers.

Think you’re stretching it a bit there?

Did he mess up the count down?
Clock management issues?

Was at that game, kind of sensed that was the definitive start of the decline. Players weren’t ready or in shape, guys going into the draft completely checked out. Miles: deer in headlights.

LSU also appears in the one about Columbia. O'Keefe played a major role in that one.

I watched the other day. It was a pretty terrible movie. Very bad acting and writing. Obviously low budget movie.
